Hello,
Today I received an email from a stranger with the subject of an old password that I no longer use, along with my first.last name as my email address. In the body of the email, he says that I have visited some adult sites and that he gained access through my camera and also my photos, and if I don't send him a large sum of money in bitcoin, he will send my videos to my contacts.
Please, what should I do? Help me, please,
P.S.: the password displayed is not the one for my email address or my social media accounts,
- I have never signed up for a porn site with my email address and rarely visited it even with a private browser
- I have an iPhone, which is normally impossible to hack or install viruses on
- I am in Morocco, and the email I received is in English, so maybe it’s not from my region.

Hello
Known scam!! It's the same scenario. Nothing new.
The same nonsense sent to thousands of addresses.. Among them, there are a few who feel targeted and will end up paying. Do NOT pay anything..
Ugh..
See you later

JP95, thank you, but we're still freaking out. This is the second time I've received this kind of email. The first time, he asked me for 500 euros to be sent via e-thunes, otherwise he would block my computer. I didn't respond, that was about 6 months ago. Today, it was 500 euros but in bitcoins, otherwise he would share my visits to porn sites with my acquaintances. I panicked because he referred to me by my nickname, which few people know, but it might have appeared in internet conversations with close friends. What reassured me a bit is that he said he wanted to disclose views from my webcam, but I don’t have one. Thank you again for your advice.
