Hello,

I recently purchased a Netgear PLW1000v2 powerline adapter (which works great by the way)

I would like to use it as a Wi-Fi repeater:
I want my powerline to have the same SSID as my router, the same password, and above all, I want to be able to switch from my router's network to my powerline's network without having to reconnect (like in a business or hotel).

Is this possible?

    Hi,
    it's probably possible, you just need to configure your access point for that, but make sure to set a different and at least 4 channels away from your box.
    But Netgear doesn't have the elegance to provide a user manual :-(

    This is not a wifi repeater in this case, but an additional access point.

      It's been a little while since I've been trying to configure it from this URL, and I must admit that I'm having a hard time finding the option to enable that...
      I'm a bit stuck ^^'

        I can hardly help you go further; you would need to include screenshots, since Netgear does not provide a configuration manual.
        At least, I haven't found one.

        Sorry for my late reply, but my issue is resolved.

        It was indeed just a matter of giving the same SSID and password to the WIFI from the additional access point ;)
