CPL Wifi in a separate garage

Hello,

And thank you for reading this post.

I have an outdoor garage separated from the house by 15m of land, with its own electrical panel.

For a while now, I've set up a gaming corner in this space. I'm using power line adapters from TP-Link with 1300Mbps. I had lower versions before and never had any issues. The network is stable and allows me to play AAA online games without lag or disconnections.

I then wanted to connect several devices requiring WiFi, like Hue Play and a connected speaker. I'm therefore looking for a way to create a WiFi network from the power line.

I bought this adapter:

I successfully paired and cloned my router (Freebox Rev) via WPS, but while the WiFi signal is excellent, I don't have enough network to connect via WiFi.
I don't understand because my power line is excellent, but the conversion to WiFi isn't working correctly.

I will probably get a refund for this product. I don't see any other way to create WiFi except by creating a Hot Spot from the PC. But the Hot Spot seems too unstable for using Hue Play or an Echo Alexa. It also needs to be reactivated at every startup, and it seems some products don't work well in Hot Spot mode...

Any idea why I can't create this WiFi network from the power line?
Maybe a suggestion for creating a WiFi network in this garage?

Thanks in advance.

Configuration: Windows / Firefox 67.0

    Hi,
just so you know, you're not doing it the right way:
the right way is a direct ethernet cable between the two buildings with a proper wifi access point at the end, there are some really good ones.

I've thought about it. Especially since I already have an access point.

The problem is getting the cable through. I could have used one of the reserved conduits that connects, but it's blocked. So for now, it's not possible.
    Outside, it's too complicated.

Anyway, I've solved the problem. The dedicated application has finally been able to recognize the new device not as a repeater, but as a WiFi access point.

    So everything's good. Thanks anyway.
