No sound after RD4 change on 308 JBL pack

Hello everyone!
The time has come to replace the old RD4 in my 308! My car is from 2008 and has the JBL package with the "subwoofer" in the trunk, which I will replace later with an amplified subwoofer.
I have acquired a Sony car radio and adapters to connect it. The car radio starts up correctly, picks up stations, performs all its tasks, however, no sound comes from my speakers...
I went to Norauto but didn't get a real solution to the problem... They told me that I probably need to reconnect the speakers directly to the radio because the problem comes from the subwoofer which, according to them, manages the speakers...
Is there any other solution? Is there an adapter missing? Should I disconnect the original subwoofer? Anyway, I'm a bit lost.. :(

PS: If you have any ideas for a good amplified subwoofer with strong bass within a budget of €200 (max €300) I'm all ears :D

    could you take some pictures of the subwoofer to see if all the speakers converge towards it?

    If there are only 2 wires going to the subwoofer, it means there is a box that separates each channel, so in your 308 you have 4 kits: 3 split speakers - bass, midrange, and treble, along with the subwoofer, so the box acts as a filter that separates the different sounds, sending the bass to the subwoofer, the mids to the full-range speakers, and the treble to the tweeters.

    Normally, this shouldn't pose a problem because if you had purchased separate 3-way speakers, you would have 2 sets of 3 speakers: 2 subs, 2 mids, and 2 tweeters with 2 3-way filters.

    But to better understand the problem, you should go to Peugeot and ask them; they will be able to answer you better and find the issue.

      Otherwise, I found this type of wiring harness for car radios with ISO connector and high-definition sound for Peugeot 308 with JBL option

      To make sure it will fit your car, I suggest you take a photo of the ISO connector from the link I provided and show it to your mechanic, asking if it will be compatible with your car to connect your car radio.
