Hello
The commands in the Mailings tab are not completely greyed out.
In any case, this implies that you have not "started" the mail merge, and you cannot insert a field as long as Word does not know which database you are referring to!
So you need to do things in order:
- Start Mail Merge button => Choose the type of mail merge
- Select Recipients button => Indicate the list to use.
Then all the buttons will be accessible.
