Gray mail merge ribbon

Hello,

I'm not a pro at mail merge, and I'm tackling it now, but I can't do anything as the mail merge ribbon is grayed out and I can't insert any fields.
Who can help me?

Hello

The commands in the Mailings tab are not completely greyed out.
In any case, this implies that you have not "started" the mail merge, and you cannot insert a field as long as Word does not know which database you are referring to!

So you need to do things in order:
- Start Mail Merge button => Choose the type of mail merge
- Select Recipients button => Indicate the list to use.

Then all the buttons will be accessible.
