Hello,
It’s been almost a week since I noticed this infamous sound issue, a choppy and glitchy sound, on any platform (YouTube, Spotify, even Windows notifications)... very bothersome
I checked the sound card drivers, all good, I tried uninstalling/reinstalling them, but nothing changed, still the same problem...
The operating system is up to date, I suppose all the other drivers are too (the PC is new, 3 months old)
And I noticed that this problem also affects GTA 5, sound bug during loading times, and massive lag all the time, making the game unplayable... very annoying :'(
The PC resources are more than sufficient to avoid this kind of issue (CPU <20% / RAM <40% / HDD <1%)
I’m out of ideas to fix this problem, any help?
MSI GT72 6QD / Win 10 x64 Home / 16 GB RAM / i7 6700 HQ / GTX 970 M

Found!
So, actually, it was Realtek HD Audio that was conflicting with Razer Surround Audio Controller after an update from it.
For future unlucky ones, right-click on the "sound" icon, troubleshoot sound problems, and check Razer Surround Audio Controller.
The utility will automatically designate it as the default controller, which will solve the problem! (If you designate Realtek, it won't work)
Thank you very much to the people who contributed to solving the problem :)
Wishing you all the best!
Sincerely,

Very well, but throughout the content of the post, you never mentioned Razer Surround!
You should have perhaps revealed this information to us!
But anyway...............take care as well.
Best regards.
