RAKUTEN and the -20%/month rate

good evening,

I am a fan of the Rakuten site and its offer of 20% off on the 1st Wednesday of every month to buy used comic books (I buy them every month on Rakuten for years).................!!!

I don’t understand what’s going on but for the past 2 months the 20% off hasn’t been applied anymore and remains at 5% (for comics and others) so since Wednesday June 3, 2026 and Wednesday July 1, 2026 it’s stayed at 5% ??

what’s going on, has Rakuten changed the day of the 20% off ???

    It seems that Rakuten has modified its promotional offers, reducing the discount from 20% to 5% on used comics, without a clear indication of a date change.

      It’s not by repeating the terms of a question that you’ll get an answer.

      I don’t have the answer either.

      Hints would be that, unless there is an active subscription contract with contrary provisions, each provider has its own commercial policy.

      Rakuten is only a platform, it may not be directly at fault, but its concerned Marketplaces whose commercial policy is independent and who would be the interlocutors on the matter.
