Unable to connect to Instagram due to unusual activity

Good evening,
It’s been over 2 months now since I’ve been unable to log into my Instagram account; it worked until I went to India for vacation.
I even used it just before heading to the airport! I can see my profile from another account, but when I try to log in there’s some sort of error message,
[Verify your account, We noticed unusual activity on your account. For your safety, you will need to request help to log in]
I can’t even get into my account to change my password or email address. So I tried logging in with my Facebook like usual, but it creates a separate new account, which is really frustrating.
I’ve searched everywhere on the internet, but I haven’t found anyone else with the same situation, so please someone give me a solution to log into my original account.

are you sure it hasn't been hacked? I got hacked 3 weeks ago.. I'm looking for others who might have experienced this!! I feel like I'm the only one!!! plus, an account with not many followers etc.... total nonsense!! and Instagram are real idiots!! they deactivate the account and reactivate it FOR THE HACKER and tell me that they have reactivated it!! I've never seen such a bunch of losers!!

Hello, unfortunately, it happens often.
They blocked 3 of my Instagram accounts, claiming that someone logged into Instagram, etc....? Supposedly for my security, etc....? Because of them, I had to open a new account. What's worse, I can't even log into Instagram from my computer ????????????
I'm going to end up closing my Instagram account.
I really don't know what to do anymore.
