Network card (red icon)

Hello, I am experiencing a malfunction with my integrated network card on the motherboard.
It’s a Realtek PCI GBE family controller. For the past few days, I have noticed that when I start the PC, the icon for the network card is red, indicating that the card is disabled; however, there are no issues with the Wi-Fi. I have a Freebox Crystal. The procedure I follow at that moment is to restart the PC, but nothing is resolved at that point. So, I reboot the Freebox and then it works again. I really can’t figure out where this problem is coming from. What I know for sure is that it’s not the box because when I start up, the Ethernet light on the box is on and blinking, but when I check the PC tower, there is no light at the Ethernet port, so it’s definitely a PC issue. I have updated my drivers under Windows 10, maybe there’s something in the BIOS, but I can't find anything when I go in. Now, if someone has had this problem before and resolved it,
thank you for your help.

Configuration: Windows / Firefox 47.0

    Hi

In the Device Manager, Network Adapter, Realtek PCIe GBE Family Controller, Properties, Power Management tab, make sure the box Allow the computer to turn off this device to save power is unchecked

    See you

Hello, I indeed had "Allow the computer to turn off this device to save power" enabled, so I unchecked it. I wonder how it could have been activated without doing anything. Anyway, if that resolves the issue, thank you.

      Hi

It's not your fault > it's Windows that activates it according to the Power Options settings

      Still to follow...

      See you later!
