Hello,
Following a change of a computer tower, I have switched to Windows 7. I reinstalled my printer (HP ENVY 4504 using the software provided by the printer) but I still can't print a document even though the computer recognizes it, as it is possible to scan and save a document. I tried connecting it by USB as well as wirelessly, but nothing changes.
Awaiting your response, thank you.

Thank you for replying to me,
Yes I have the CD with the printer drivers and it says that it is compatible with Windows 7. In addition, the printer is checked in Devices and Priners
Thanks again

your problem is strange, do this:
uninstall your printer (including the drivers)
then download the drivers from the HP site
the link >> https://support.hp.com/fr-fr/drivers/selfservice/HP-ENVY-4500-e-All-in-One-Printer-series/5304875/model/5368526
install the drivers and restart the PC
PS: the installation is done with the USB cable unplugged, you will plug it in when the installation asks you
if you have questions...
see you

I have just done everything you told me to do.
But the problem persists.

I still can’t print a document even though the computer recognizes it, since it’s possible to scan and save a document
your problem isn’t common, since the other options work
personally, I would perform a 1-reset of the printer to reset everything

I just performed a full reset of the printer, but I still can’t print.
Could the problem be coming from an internal component of the printer?
thanks again

Could the problem be coming from an internal component of the printer?
it isn't impossible, but from afar like this, I couldn't tell you
also check the printer settings to make sure everything is properly “set”

you can leave it as configured, I have the same thing for my printer
you can run 1 print test, and take screenshots during the test
then post the screenshots here
thanks

I just ran a test on my PC, do this:
download HP Print and Scan Doctor for Windows to your desktop
https://support.hp.com/fr-fr/drivers/selfservice/HP-ENVY-4500-e-All-in-One-Printer-series/5304875/model/5368526
run it as administrator (right-click)
follow the procedure (choose print troubleshooting)
if you have questions...
see you soon

Hi
The print page launched by HP Print and Scan Doctor does not print. As a result, HP Print and Scan Doctor suggested printing an internal page it printed to verify whether the printer was working.
Sorry for the delay.
