Hello everyone,
I’m really pleased to share my question on this forum in the hope of being helped by an Einstein of tinkering.
I have an issue with an Epson WP 4525 printer connected via Ethernet (switch) for the needs of a small business, and it started at power-on to spit out pages of symbols without being able to stop it. I no longer have the installation CD, but I think I managed to find the drivers at Epson. So uninstall and reinstall without success.
Thanks in advance for your help and especially for your patience with an old-timer who doesn’t master computer language very well.
Thanks, friends.

Hello,
A few questions if you don’t mind:
1) What version of Windows do you have? e.g.: Windows 7 32-bit
2) Has the printer ever worked in this configuration?
3) Have you recently upgraded your system, for example moving from W7 to W8 or 10.
4) How did you install the driver, locally or over the network connection?
Looking forward to hearing from you. Best regards

1) Windows 7 without being able to say immediately whether it is 32 or 64
2) The printer has already worked in this configuration
3) Still on Windows 7
4) Network connection
Thank you for your help
4) the installation was done properly
You should check if the printer appears in the network devices but I assume you have done so.
From what I understand, it is not by performing a print test that you got this output, but on startup. You can leave the printer off for a little while before turning it back on (also remove the stack of paper, which should block the startup of the parasite print).
This probably means that the memory was still full of an old document, in the waiting area, which you can also check, in the printer properties I think (right-click).
If one or more files appear in the window, select them and request cancellation.
Looking forward to hearing from you
Best regards.
I did not specify that I do not know your printer and have not yet encountered this type of incident. I have simply handled a few dozen and am trying to offer you some advice. Perhaps other subscribers will have more fruitful suggestions to propose.
But I remain at your disposal if you wish. Have a good evening.
