Why this response?? No further explanation? A printer alert warns me of hardware obsolescence while all the presumably affected parts have been changed: print head, cartridges, cleaned sponge... I just need to reset the printer before being completely blocked. There must be a way to fix this, considering the other solutions provided by this forum. Thank you for your help, please.

Some believe that politeness is more important than anything. Or the art of prioritizing form over substance...... The frivolity of some is not the master of the world, fortunately.
Hello and thank you for this response which I take note of. _ I have installed the "SSC Service Utility" software, but despite several shutdowns of the printer (normal shutdown, unplugged/on), I still get a response window (error "Printer off, or some problem!") _ I consulted the first 500 responses on the 2nd link (blocked at 500 out of 1000) without finding one that suits me, except for one in the 400s about the previous software from 2012. _ I saved the 3rd paid link (since I had already tried an Epson site that speaks US English ... _>>> WICReset _ which works with a paid key of about 10 euros _ but guidance in English is a bit tricky for me ...) _ Many solutions on the Web regarding cartridge reset (I use the services of "Cartouches-Rechargeable.com," unbeatable and friendly) but my issue is with the pad, and I fear an imminent permanent blockage... Just for the record: I've spent about 8 to 10 hours consulting the Web with attempts... but I do not want to lose the benefits of the purchase price of the printer and spare parts, new printhead, new set of rechargeable cartridges, cleaning the pad, and other time spent on a machine that theoretically cannot be disassembled.) _ I am persevering! Thanks to the "Comment ça marche" company for its existence and the passion of the internet users who make it up, without whom... I would only have the trash left for my device. In the meantime, thank you Flogger Best regards, gilaix.
Result of my computer wanderings: With “SSC Service Utility v4.30: I have the window that offers 3 choices _ Ink monitor _Configuration _ Resetler _In Configuration: Line 1/ _installed Printers: it recognizes my printer (Epson BX300F) Line 2/ _ Printer model: a long list of models except mine... (above) _ In Resetler: Available data select model: (none V) grayed out _ with no other solution??? _a test proposal at the bottom right that says: “Do you want to begin resetting? Remember to remove chip- Yes / No (I had it translated - my printer is on but nothing happens in both cases of response)
With WicReset: free version 3 choices: Read Waste counters _ The window gives me: Counter 97.55% This counter will reach maximum soon. Counter 35.85% This counter is ok. In: Reset waste counters: I get a window with this: _WIC RESET _ Enter Key here _ Valid key must contain 15 or 16 Characters My question: is there a printer key? If not, this one is offered for a fee To be entered in the next line Check Reset Key: in the form of 15 to 16 characters Key to be obtained in a line below: Wic Reset Utility: (access with a paid key) Below, more information keys. In one of which I get this somewhat alarming message: >>> >>>>>>>>>Manual cleaning counter: 154 // Timer cleaning counter: 7 // Cartridge replacement cleaning counter: 218 // Total print pass counter: 1,627,597 // Total print page counter: 20,099 // Last printer fatal error code 1: 0xF1 PF PID excess load error. The PF motor does not rotate at target speed even when high voltage is applied. PF Encoder failure (contaminated/detached scale, encoder board failure). PF Motor failure. PF drive mechanism overload (paper jam/foreign object). Cable disconnection. // Serial number: KPxxx // Firmware version: TT1488 //
For your information and very objectively, I have of course consulted other sites but only CCM offers viable solutions. _ To date, I have a paid solution that remains to be tested, but before I continue my search because in many other machine references there are free solutions and my recent restoration purchases make me wince at having to pay again, even though I concede that ten euros is not the price of new. Thanks to Flogger for his follow-up and I will follow the forum, for myself and once the problem is resolved for others. Thanks again.

Hello and THANK YOU "Flogger" from CCM _ I finally bought the key for "Wick Reset Utility" for 8.49 euros and followed the indicated procedure. It’s perfect and quite easy (remember to copy the key beforehand to paste it later in the designated box) with a 99.55% success rate. My counters are back to zero. Thank you again!! Gilaix

Let's try to take a closer look at the problem.
On ccm, there is this article: https://forums.commentcamarche.net/forum/affich-37636494-epson-des-elements-arrives-au-terme-de-leur-duree-de-vie
or

This may help.
