TV Whistling Problem

Good evening,

For several months, I've had a problem: my TV emits a "high-pitched" whistling sound. When I mute the sound, it stops whistling.

I've also noticed that it whistles less loudly depending on the images (I think when it's dark).

What should I do?

    Your TV came out in 2008, around the time you bought it !!?
    Is it connected to a Box? Is the sound controllable with your Box's remote control !!
