MyHeritage thief

Hello, I visited the MyHeritage website and wanted to try the site with their free 14-day offer. I never actually accessed any of their files; I filled out the document with my details to access the site, but I didn’t confirm anything when I realized that I would become a subscriber. I closed the site, forgetting to delete my details. Now, I see on my bank statement a charge of €79.60 from MyHeritage. I have a document showing that they received my cancellation, but now they are unavailable. Can anyone tell me how to demand a refund of this exorbitant amount for my budget and report their rather incorrect methods that border on theft?

Configuration: Windows 7 / Mozilla 11.0

    Hello,

You can contest the withdrawal with your bank. It is the bank's responsibility to provide evidence that you authorized this withdrawal; otherwise, it must refund you.

Thank you for your response; indeed, that is the approach I should have taken. However, I managed to send them an email, threatening with a consumer association, and this morning I noticed that the refund was processed by the site.
I simply want to warn others not to go on this site (because in the meantime they worked for over 10 days with my money, payment on February 22 and refund on March 5).

      Hello,

Unfortunately, your testimony is not very visible on the internet and they continue to use this method...

I have just asked my bank to refund me.

      Best regards.

Unfortunately, I see that it's not possible to simply report to the General Directorate for Fraud Control but rather to file a complaint, which I don't intend to do. This means they will refund me and continue to use their fraudulent method by profiting from those who don't request a refund.

I just reported it on the site: https://www.econsumer.gov/fr/GettingStarted/1?NextQID=1&SubID=1#crnt

      It actually takes 10 minutes.
