GIGASET A400A - Answering machine disabled

Hello,

We recently subscribed to a Freebox Revolution plan, and since I connected my GIGASET a400a phone via DCET to the box, I can no longer activate the internal answering machine on the phone. Indeed, the "Answering Machine" option that was initially present in the dropdown menu of the landline phone has completely disappeared, and I am therefore unable to activate and configure the answering machine belonging to my phone's base. Moreover, I cannot access the external voicemail from my ISP. As a result, I cannot check my answering machine and find out who tried to reach me.

I thank you in advance for letting me know the procedure to get my internal answering machine back.

Thank you and thanks again.

    Hello
    Excerpt from https://www.free.fr/assistance/2503.html
Using the DECT function (cordless landline phone)
    1 - Purpose
The DECT function of the Freebox Revolution allows you to associate your DECT cordless handsets without going through their base.
If you are using the DECT function of your Freebox Revolution, nothing unusual... your base (which was also your answering machine) is inoperative (it is no longer connected) and only serves as a charger for the handset.

To restore functionality, you need to physically connect the base to the box.

    Thank you for these responses.

I will therefore have to come to a decision.

    Have a good evening.
