Gigaset DX800A full voicemail memory issue

Solved

Hello

I have a Gigaset DX800 A All in one phone.

For several days now, as soon as 2 messages are recorded on the answering machine, the device indicates Memory full and no longer records calls.

I have of course deleted the saved messages, but nothing works; the answering machine does not record more than 2 messages that are well below the maximum allowed duration of 55 minutes.

Thank you for your help

Best regards

    Hello,
Do you have the user manual?
If you don't have it, here is the link.
    https://selfone.fr/documentations/Siemens-DX800A.pdf
Look in the "old messages" section; your solution might be there.
    Have a nice day!

      Hello

      Thank you to Sergio39.

I already had the manual and performed the operations to clear the old messages.

Unfortunately, it does not resolve my issue.
The answering machine is limited to 2 messages.

      Best regards

    Hello,
I will check (let's look at the manual together) to see if there is a "reset" button.. you never know.. otherwise, I don't see.. maybe the electronics are starting to "fail"!

There is a "default restoration" section
Try to perform this restoration, it will delete the SMS, CALL, and VOICEMAIL lists

    Hello,
If I can believe the manual... the base of the C620A has 3 "answering machines"
the memories of the three answering machines have indeed been cleared.
Is their programming correct? Is only AB1 in service??? See manual on page 102

      Hello Baladur13..
      our friend is using a DX800A, not a C620A
(see my link for the manual)

My mistake regarding the model (I've corrected it, thank you)
but the comment about the answering machines is indeed applicable to the DX800A.

        Do you think the restoration I'm talking about affects the 3 responders .. AB1 AB2 AB3 .. ??

The notice on page 145 (in addition to the reset procedure) states:
        The following lists are cleared:
        - SMS lists
        - Call lists
        - Voicemail lists.
Voicemail lists with an "s" so presumably all three are affected and emptied.

        Hello

        Thanks to Sergio39 and badadur13.

I have reset the database as indicated in the instructions.

Unfortunately, I still have the same problem of full memory after 2 saved messages.

        Good evening

In that case, I'm afraid your phone is starting to become "sick"!
Sorry, but there's nothing more I can do about it
    Have a good evening
