Hello,

I have a multi-page PDF and I would like to convert certain pages of the PDF to black and white while keeping the others in color for printing.

What is the easiest method?

In my opinion, the easiest way is to force the pages to print in black at the time of printing... (printer settings)

Color printer drivers generally have this option.

You print the pages in black with this option and the others in color... It requires you to create sets of pages, but in my opinion, it's the fastest way.

Another possibility, but at a cost, is to use an Acrobat plugin to modify the colorimetric settings of the pages.

Hello. We need to print about 120 pages, several of which contain CMYK colors, while we need to print them in black and white for laser printing so that it doesn’t print in 4-color process even if it's black. Otherwise, the machine will count it as color... I know there's a way to convert colors to, say, 20% black gain, but this does it for the whole document...

Thank you for your help anyway!

Yes... to convert a specific page into a PDF, you need an Acrobat plugin. And it's not free.

However, if you change the driver every time you have a black and white page, it won't cost you anything... except for the time wasted in configuring the driver... But if you play around with the print sequences, it can go very quickly (after preparing the sequences, of course!)
