Black Background in PDF Format?

Hello,

My problem is that every conversion from a Word file to PDF does not seem to support the background colors of the page. In other words, if I convert a Word file with pages that have a black background and white text, the resulting PDF displays it the other way around, with black letters on a white background. However, this problem only seems to affect the page background because colored tables present in the document retain their colors. Is it possible to perform this conversion while keeping the same background attributes from a Word file to a PDF file?

Software used:

Microsoft Office Word 2007
PDFCreator

Thank you for any potential support!

Hello,

In Word, I don't know but I just tried with OpenOffice and, when exporting to pdf, the background is indeed black and the text is white.

If there is no solution, you can therefore download OOo and use it. It is available here: http://fr.openoffice.org/

Best regards

You just need to set your writing to white, save it as a PDF, and once that’s done, change the background to black. This can be found in the document menu.

As far as I'm concerned, I have a document with a shaded yellow background, and when I go through PDF Creator, the background color is not retained. I also tried with Open Office 3.0, and got the same result.

If anyone has a solution.

Like Haigwepa, neither pdfcreator nor dopdf support background colors... as soon as we convert from word format to pdf format, the color disappears... does anyone have a solution??

Thanks in advance.
