Hello,
I am currently installing Windows 10 on an Asus R511LD purchased this morning (which was running 8.1).
I am at the restart stage, and I find it very, very long. The computer has been displaying "Restarting" for over 1 hour and 30 minutes... (while the other stages were rather quick).
Is this normal?
For your information: I downloaded the Windows 10 offered by 01.net
Thank you in advance for your responses!
Configuration: Windows Vista / Chrome 44.0.2403.107

Hello, after formatting the disk and reinstalling Windows 7 Home, I embarked on the adventure of upgrading to Windows 10 at midnight. I have a Q8500 running at 2.5 GHz. (I know it’s not a beast of a machine, lol.) Anyway, it took me 1 hour to download, and the installation started around 1:00 AM. At first, things went relatively smoothly, but then there was a huge waiting time at 86%. It finally moved again. However, now it’s stuck at 99% since 11 AM. So, I’ve already been at it for 18 hours of installation time, with the percentage frozen at 99% since 11 AM. I knew it could sometimes take a while, but still, this is ridiculous. It looks like I’m going to be one of those people who took 24 hours to get to Windows 10. They say as long as there’s a little LED light on, there’s hope, lol. I’m fed up with seeing 99% for hours. It’s frustrating.
