The period has become a comma on my keyboard

Solved

Hello,

on the keyboard of my HP Probook, in the right-hand section where the numbers are, at the bottom, the period key "." works normally in numeric text but produces a "comma" "," when I type a typed (text) document. This has changed over the past few months. Why and how to fix it?

The installed version is OpenOffice 4.1.13.

Thanks for your advice

    Hello,

In France it is normal for the dot (.) on the numeric keypad to display a comma as the numeric separator, with us the comma.

If you want to change it

In Open Office, click "Tools" then "Options".
Look for the "Language Settings" section, expand it (small plus to the left) and click on "Languages" and uncheck the box "Decimal separator key" titled (Same as the language setting (,)). and finally click "OK"

From then on, pressing the keypad key will write a dot instead of a comma.
