Black ink problem

Hello,

I have an HP DESKJET 1050A, and there has been an orange light on for a few weeks, a light that represents a droplet or a bulb, I'm not quite sure... it seems to be a problem with the black ink. When I print, it only prints halfway and the rest of the words are missing. Does this mean that I am low on black ink and need to buy more?

Thank you.

No idea, I bought the printer quite a while ago and I have no idea what I did with the packaging :(

Oooooh thank you very much! I found a cartridge that says it is compatible with an HP Deskjet 1050, and my printer is the HP Deskjet 1050A. Is there a difference?

      In principle, it's the same...

      Hi,

avoid compatible cartridges... every time I've tried this type of ink, I've had printer problems, now I only buy brand-name ink

if you want to save on the cost per page, get yourself a laser printer
