[TOMB RAIDER ANNIVERSARY] Won't start!!!

Good evening!
I am on Windows Vista, 2GB of RAM, NVIDIA 8800 GTS graphics card.

I just acquired Tomb Raider Anniversary which is logically compatible with Vista.
When I insert the DVD, an installation window appears on the screen.
I click on the INSTALL button and then nothing happens.
No application launches.
What should I do?

    Explore the Tomb Raider DVD, right-click on the AUTO RUN and run it as an administrator

    Knowing that you have a whole bunch of Vista new features since January, 8800 GTS recently, congratulations on 3rd place at Nvidia :p..)
    I recommend you update everything before you continue trying to install your game!

    Well, actually, it was the same for me, and I went into the office, clicked on the Tomb Raider CD icon, opened Explorer, and then I installed it like that. And if it doesn't work, I don't know what to do.

    I just bought it, I opened it with the right click and there are folders everywhere, so I put setup instead of autorun and it works!!!

    Hello !!,
    Well, actually I had the same problem regarding the installation. You have to right-click on autorun and then: open.
    Among all the files, you need to choose setup (next to it there's the head of Lara) and there you go, normally the installation should start!

    Hello, following your problem, I've looked into it a bit and I have the same issue with certain games.
    Try opening the game as an administrator by right-clicking; that should normally work...

    I had the same problem, there is no 36 solutions, you have to format and go back to XP, Vista is a huge piece of crap, it crashes all the programs, it crashes my photo edits and my video processing... plus none of my games work (games less than 1 year old)...

      Vista is a real piece of junk, I agree. But with some tinkering, you can even get TR1 to run ^^

    Hello,

    I have Tomb Raider Anniversary, and I am using Vista...

    I can install the game, but when I launch it, an error message appears:

    "error out of table range"

    Detail: " Failed to open BIGFILE.000"

    I have the following configuration:

    Windows Vista

    ATI Mobility Radeon HD 2600

    DirectX 9

      So it's simple, it happened to me too. I went to the desktop (Computer for Vista), right-clicked on the game, explored, and clicked on setup.exe. It works ;) ! Sorry for the delay!
