Hello, I’m stuck on the centaurs part. with the solution on the internet I still can’t. actually when I try to remove the shield it bounces. my rope doesn’t hook. can you tell me what you press for it to hook, or some codes to get past the centaurs part because I’m starting to think there’s a bug in my game

It's simple: you aim at one until its energy gauge fills; it charges at you. When the screen goes blurry, use the analog stick (left/right/back or up) plus the circle button to aim and shoot at it. It will stop. Put away your guns and use your grappling hook. Normally the girl will grab the centaur's shield and press triangle to disarm it of its shield. Do the same with the other one, then you pull it off when they fire their laser at you that petrifies you. Quickly protect yourself with a shield; it will reflect their ray back to them, then you just have to kill them.

Hello everyone, actually here’s the thing: I have a huge problem with this game. It’s been over a month that I’m stuck at this part of the game. I get into the crypt under the centaurs; one of them dies out of the two, but after I go to kill the second, the game glitches. Who could help me because it’s annoying not being able to finish it… I’ve tried all possibilities but nothing works, I’m stuck…

If you’re talking about this game on PSP, you have to annoy them, and then one of them will attack you; at that moment you dodge it with the circle and give him a hit to the head (which is the hardest). He'll be knocked out and you press the right arrow above the D-pad to launch the grappling hook. You then take his shield as well. Then you annoy him a second time and this time he shoots the green beam that turns you to stone. So you use the shield as a mirror. It reflects the beam back at him, and he becomes much more vulnerable and you can finish him off. Do the same with the other one, and there you go.

I’m stuck at Folie St François. I managed to get the key to unlock the ball, but I’m in the room with the water. I’ve raised the water level, I’ve lowered the two levers, but after that I’m blocked. The box remains blocked under the bridge and I can’t do anything. I tried to throw my grappling hook everywhere but no success
I tried this afternoon and then gave up to come back later this afternoon but I still can’t find it

well it's not hard when you enter the room climb all the way up remove the block to raise the water go to the other side to drop the other block and go under water lower all the levers so that at least we are sure that everything is done then you put back the block that allowed you to raise the water; in principle the platform should be released so go all the way down and use your grappling hook to move the wooden platform and there you go I think you know what you have left to do.

I just managed to kill the centaurs after 4 days of battle
I'm on PS3 but the move is the same as on PS2
so here's the move I’ll explain
when one charges at you and you see L+O appear
you must press L1 + left stick + O at the same time to get slow motion, then a small beep or you'll see a gray circle; as soon as it becomes red, shoot, it immobilizes the centaur. Then you shoot the grappling hook with square and triangle to pull it off, then you anger them again while staying next to the shield. When they make their green gaze, take the shield and it will turn against them; they will then turn to stone. shoot at them, noting that you must do this 2 times for each of them. there you go, good battle to you

I’m bumping this topic a bit. I’m having trouble with the centaurs too, nothing works, but I found something that might help a little. Since I was dodging, it never worked and I couldn’t see the reticule. I tried locking on the target by holding L1 and shooting with R1 and dodging backward, and it seems to work! Lara dodges well and doesn’t just duck :-/. I hope this can help you. Although I haven’t beaten them yet, just trials. Have fun playing!
