30 Mbps is it correct?

Hello,
Due to technical issues with Free (ADSL), I would like to switch to a fiber provider.
I have "tested my line" with Bouygues and Numericable
and they tell me I can benefit from a speed of 30 mb/s.
Is that correct? Will I be able to watch HD videos on YouTube, for example?
Play on the console? Without lag??
Thank you for your response.

Configuration: Windows 8 / Chrome 35.0.1916.153

Hello. 30MB/s is more than enough; YouTube streams its Full HD videos at 10MB/s.

Attention: This is of course Mbits/s. Not at all MB/s, which is an English unit meaning megabyte per second, that is to say a little over 240 Mbits/s...

Sorry, the habit that people write mb for MB....
      But that's just as sufficient.
