Hello,
I have an SFR box and a TV decoder. I want to be able to watch TV that is not located upstairs, what can I do? An SFR installer told me that I should negotiate with SFR for a second decoder but that I needed to check if the electrical line would support the second decoder. Is there another solution?
Thank you for your responseConfiguration: Windows XP Internet Explorer 7.0

To be able to watch two TV channels simultaneously with a second TV decoder, you need to subscribe to SFR's Multi-TV option, which allows you to benefit from the second set-top box: https://assistance.sfr.fr/television/services-tv/option-multi-tv-programmes-tv-vod.html
However, those who have purchased a second-hand SFR TV decoder (on LeBonCoin or elsewhere) seem to say that it works, but there is no guarantee on the duration, as it is possible that SFR could disable their second device or cut off the line.
Finally, there is the option to get an Android TV box, for example, or an Apple TV with Android, in order to watch TV on each additional television.

Hello
It is entirely possible to connect multiple set-top boxes (decoders) to an SFR Neufbox. I have 3 decoders, and everything works perfectly; I can watch whatever I want on each of my TVs.
I just bought 3 sets of 2 switches because otherwise it works poorly, and I connected them to the Ethernet ports of the box; it doesn't matter whether it's the PC port or the TV port. I have one switch connected to the TV output and the others connected to PC1 and PC2, and I'm getting 20 Mbps, which is great.

Hello! The question, by extension, is: is it possible to watch at the same time and on 2 distinct devices (PC / TV / freezer / whatever), 2 different programs???
My answer is NO, except for duplication with NEUF BOX, which means a joyful budget of €59.90/month (equivalent to €750/year: OUFFFF!!! At that price, subscribe to UGC or GAUMONT!!!!!).
Your successive switches only "drift" a single signal.
Example: "Me, Dad, I want to watch PSG-REAL MADRID tonight (on TF1); my wife, who loves football (...), prefers the series "Les Sex-perts" (let's say,...on NT1). Will there be a fight at home?" = affirmative!!
Do you have a brilliant solution to avoid the conflict? ;-) In my opinion, impossible....

Hello
Well, I’m picking up your terms: "Dad, I want to watch PSG-REAL MADRID tonight (on TF1); my wife, who loves football (...), prefers the series 'Les Sex-perts' (let's say,... on NT1). Will there be a fight at home?" For me, that's totally possible, I can watch TF1 on one TV, Canal on another, and NT1 on another, all at the same time without any problem. I just bought 4 Hercules e-plug 200mbps and no other subscription with Neuf, €29.90.

Hello
a diagram, there’s nothing complicated lol, you just need to buy 2 eplugs 200m/bps for my part, I have Hercules eplugs that you connect with Ethernet cables, one that goes from your router to the box that is plugged into your power outlet and the other box from the power outlet to your decoder, still using the Ethernet cable that comes with the boxes,
I hope I answered your question

I will take your advice and check eBay because I've only been with SFR for two months, and it's a bit heavy to say that my decoder has let me down. Thank you again, and I don't regret going on the forum; I met someone nice who doesn't have a big head and who explains complicated things simply, at least for me.
With the Orange Livebox and the Orange decoder, can you watch 2 TVs separately about 15 meters apart?
Thank you for your response; I don’t know if it matters, but I'm on Wi-Fi.

Hello,
On my side, I tested it and it works "partially".
Actually, I have a switch connected to the TV output of the box, and 2 SFR decoders, which are both connected to the switch and to an antenna, because the decoders allow receiving TNT.
In this setup, it is possible to use all functions on both TVs (TNT, ADSL TV, media center).
Only TNT is available on both decoders simultaneously.
The other functions must be used alternately.
It is possible to watch ADSL TV on one TV and the media center on the other at the same time.

Hello,
What is this switch? I understand the term in electronics, but physically, on the neufbox, how does it manifest? Do you have to do it yourself or can it be bought?
As for the 2 SFR decoders, do you pay for them or did you manage to negotiate this second decoder?
Thanks for helping a "newbie" with these systems ;-)

There are HDMI splitters, where you connect your equipment, and the signal displays on both TVs.
You have a system, with a switch and splitter, cascaded setup, where you connect all your devices to the switch, such as DVD players, set-top boxes, multimedia hard drives, etc., and then connect the output of the switch to the splitter, allowing you to watch what you want on either of the two TVs, or both. It is not necessary to turn on both TVs at the same time.
For your information, there are "HDMI matrices" that do both at the same time, switch/splitter (switch/splitter) e.g., 4 inputs and two outputs. On certain models, you send the signal to both TVs, while on others, you send the input signal to either TV 1 or 2, e.g., you want to watch a DVD (input "A") on TV 2, and the TV Box on TV 1 simultaneously.
Inquire with sellers before purchasing, as the cascaded setup is not compatible with all switches.

Hello, I agree with you, it works. But what type of decoder should I buy? One with an Ethernet (RJ45) input like for the reception on the Neufbox? Or another one? Can you help me?
Thank you in advance.
Thank you in advance.
simple and easy.
I have a Nine box and two TV decoders
all of which is relayed by a high-speed router
so I can watch different channels at the same time.

This seems impossible to me; I tried it, but only one decoder can work at a time. I called SFR, and they activate the decoder you want (they ask for the number written on the back of the device). They activate the one you want, but under no circumstances can both work simultaneously. Despite my explicit request and even my anger, my SFR contact assured me that it was impossible.
Hello, you can get one on Le Bon Coin, and I need to know the speed of your box's synchronization on this page -> http://192.168.1.1/1_1 to see if you have enough bandwidth to run two TV decoders while surfing the net.
Both are compatible with the Evolution box, does it require a decoder with or without a card? Does this one do the job

And doesn't SFR periodically update the decoders?

It's possible, but you need to have a compatible speed!!! For my part, I plugged an RJ45 cable into a PC1/2 or 3 socket on the Neuf Box and into a powerline adapter, then upstairs, another powerline adapter and an RJ45 cable into the second SFR Evolution decoder... It sets itself up and both work at the same time and on the same channel or not, perfect!!!
Hello
SFR negotiated new modem boxes in February. To have a multi-TV box, the fiber optic network must be operational in our region. This is why SFR is not providing new boxes; these operations are being carried out gradually in our regions. It must be France Telecom that is blocking it via SFR.
I INSTALLED AN INDOOR ANTENNA TO AT LEAST RECEIVE THE TNT CHANNELS ON MY SECOND TELEVISION. I SET UP THESE CHANNELS FROM A DEVICE LOCATED ON THE SECOND FLOOR BECAUSE I NO LONGER HAVE AN OUTDOOR ANTENNA. WE MUST BE PATIENT AND CALL SFR REGULARLY.

Hello,
Here's what I've done and it works very well.
First, I bought an HDMI splitter with 1 input and 2 outputs (about €40) and HDMI extensions of about 15 m for around €40.
Then connect the SFR decoder to the HDMI input with the cable, then plug an HDMI cable into output 1 or 2 connected to your first TV. Connect the second HDMI cable to output 1 or 2 but do not connect your second TV right away; you must first turn on your decoder so that it starts up with its boot sequence. Wait for the mosaic to appear and only then connect your second television.
So normally it works, but be careful, I made this connection on my Samsung LE32 TV with the second Samsung Smart TV that I turn on second, and it works very well. However, if I do the opposite, that is to say turn on the Samsung Smart TV first (it might be too strong), it doesn't work.
I hope my somewhat long explanation, I admit, will be helpful... I struggled a bit to find this solution that saves me from renting the second decoder. So yes, I have the same channel on both TVs, but hey, it's a solution.

Currently, there is no second decoder offered by SFR, the new one has arrived, so at best, ask to exchange it; the advantage is that it's a Wyplayer, WiFi.
Otherwise, use an HDMI splitter, one input and two outputs
Example: https://www.amazon.fr/SPLITTER-HDMI-1-3b-PORTS-Simultan%C3%A9es/dp/B002TICPBS/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&s=electronics&qid=1269181260&sr=8-1 and use an HDMI cable of the necessary length. If you have more than 15 meters, use an HDMI extender over two RJ45 to HDMI https://www.amazon.fr/Marmitek-Distributeurs-vid%C3%A9o-Mega-View/dp/B002CHJ3EI/ref=sr_1_10?ie=UTF8&s=electronics&qid=1269181351&sr=1-10 or an HDMI female to HDMI female repeater: https://www.ldlc.com/fiche/PB00095574.html

Hello Stewartia,
You tell us that the new SFR TV decoder has arrived, but it is not yet available for equipment exchange on their website.
If it's the new one that SFR partnered with Wyplay on, it should be Wi-Fi enabled and come with a recorder; however, will it be offered for free in exchange for the old one that doesn't have a hard drive, or will there be a monthly fee like with the one that has a hard drive?
Well, I'm straying from the subject, this doesn't solve our current problem!
... putting an HDMI switch behind the TV decoder forces us to watch the same channel on both TVs and we can't change channels when we're on the second one unless we mess with an infrared eye soldered onto the box and run it to wherever the second TV is located.
Any other ideas, please!

Hello ju2110,
someone in this post mentioned that if the firmware of the neuf/sfr box is below 2, the PC ports won't work, we'll see.
However, using an RJ45 switch to split the signal from the TV output, I tried it, and it only works on one output of the switch, so is it true or false???
So, if someone really serious who has succeeded could come forward to share their experience.
Thank you in advance.

I got nine boxes and a TV decoder from a friend who left SFR without returning the equipment ;) free for me... I connected the second box in the bedroom with the decoder and TV. So I have two boxes and two decoders, everything works except I can't have both boxes connected at the same time, but that's okay, I have remote-controlled power outlets. I just need to identify myself with the button and I have access to everything... it's not the perfect solution since I watch either one or the other TV, but since I'm single lol it's just fine!
The Wyplayer has arrived, since I will have it this week, the offer is the same as the old Netgem, for the hard drive, you can buy one and insert it, which in the end is not that expensive, or rent it. The dual tuner function should be active in the coming months.

Hello everyone.
I just received the complete SFR equipment, with just one TV decoder of course.
But I have 2 TVs, and I found a solution to watch SFR TV channels on my 2 TVs (which are separated by a wall, but not very far apart)
Once the first TV was set up, I connected a blue Ethernet cable (that I had in my mess) to the PC1 output behind the modem, I drilled through my wall, and I ran my Ethernet cable next to my second TV. I retrieved a regular Scart cable (still in my mess) and connected it to my second TV and set it aside next to my Ethernet cable.
Then, all I have to do is move the TV decoder with its power supply and remote control to watch all the channels either on one TV or the other.
It's a bit of a DIY job, but it works very well. Just a little workaround while waiting for fiber optic to get the Multi TV option.
PS: I tried to get a second decoder from SFR but no luck.
