New LDLC PC won't start

Hello, I just bought a new PC LDLC config INTEL I5 WINDOWS7 GTX 770 and the problem is it won’t start. The hard drive light comes on, you can hear the fans. I'm not an expert in computers and I don't intend to open the case since it is under warranty. What’s strange is that there is an Intel I5 processor in the box. My question is: can the PC function without the processor installed? It’s a bit of a weird question, but I have the feeling they forgot to install the processor or I got an extra one. ;)
I tested my LG screen with all the cables VGA HDMI... It works very well. Has anyone else had the same problem? I am very disappointed with my purchase so far. I had clearly stated in the store that I wanted to push the power button and have it work (Windows 7 was supposed to be installed).
Best regards,

Hi

Without a processor, it definitely can't work.

Anyway, don't nitpick, you bought a guaranteed product, you just have to contact ldlc.com, they have a very good after-sales service.

In case you have 2 processors, one in the PC and one in the box, forget to mention the one that's in the box.

Before asking a question: 1° Turn on your brain, your PC doesn't think for you!
2° Google is your friend, the search engine of CCM too, do a search!

Hello,

What do you mean by they forgot to install the processor or I received one extra; do you mean that you received the PC with the processor in a separate box?

Yes, that’s what I think, but I refuse to open the case to check if there’s a second one. I requested a package that was assembled with Windows 7 installed, ready to work. I paid for that, and honestly, I don’t understand why the configurations aren’t checked and tested before being delivered to the client. It doesn’t seem very professional...

The proof that it wasn't if the processor wasn't installed!!!! In the meantime, this matter is bothering me and no one has really answered my question?

Have you called or contacted ldlc.com? No, it's still too early...

Did you open the case to see if there was indeed a heatsink in the processor slot? Not either since you "don't want" to open it, but that's the only way; moreover, you'll need to do it from time to time to clean/dust the inside of the PC...
"I don't intend to open the cover because it's under warranty." <= it's not a brand-name PC, it's a custom-built PC, opening it does not void the warranty, and actually, it doesn't for branded desktop PCs either...

Thank you for the advice. I called technical support and resolved my issue. In the processor box, there is a fan supplied by Intel, but LDLC installed a different one. I thought it was big for a processor, but I'm not an expert ;). I connected the screen to the correct video output with an HDMI cable, and it works or almost. I'm missing sound, but since I have some old speakers, I'm going to buy new ones.
