- Insert the installation SD card provided with the machine (card marked "Micro Adapter" in the slot on the left side of the device;
- Turn on the computer, two messages will appear successively
- "UBOOT update after 3 seconds"
- "UBOOT update successful, remove SD card before reset"
- Remove the SD card from its slot
- Turn off the computer by pressing and holding the power button
- Turn on the computer again
The system is ready to operate!!!

Hi, I had the same problem. Just download an update from the following link olivierbaes.free.fr/JuliaStorageCard.rar
Copy this link into a new internet window and confirm.
Download and save this file to a computer. Please download the entire file, and disable your antivirus if necessary.
Next, you need to unzip the file. If you do not have decompression software on your computer, you can download Winrar for free. ( www.clubic.com/telecharger-fiche9632-winrar.html)
Format your SD card (so your card will be completely empty), then save only the SCRIPT folder to the SD card.
Without turning on the mini computer, insert the SD card (metal part facing up), then turn on the computer.
You should see a message appear at the top in red, then “3 upgrading successful”. Wait a few minutes, do not press any keys, let the computer do its work.
When the following message appears: “Upgrade completed! Please remove SD card before system reset!”, you must remove the SD card and then turn off your computer by holding down the ON/OFF button for a few seconds.

Here, I received a mini PC (ref: PC-Windows CE Edition) ref of the PC: (PC-706)

I also have a t.book that I couldn't connect to the internet.

I also received my Tec T-book. I never thought I would have so much trouble browsing... even my phone with Windows Mobile is more effective... :(
My question is: are you able to connect to the site www.google.com? On my end, it crashes with Internet Explorer (Embedded if I understood correctly). I tested the options "same as Windows XP, Pocket PC, Windows CE," but it still doesn't work after restarting IE...
For now, I've set Bing as my homepage, but if I can't check my emails, honestly, it's useless. Facebook works, but not Youtube and Dailymotion...

The new observer should ask itself questions! Offering a so-called T-BOOK as a promotion, supposedly a computer! running Windows 6, a system for phones from 2006, is really not respectful towards its readers when this device does not meet the specifications. It was supposed to be delivered with Linux! The RAM and storage are ridiculous, and moreover, it’s impossible to connect to Wi-Fi, the RJ45 port is also unsatisfactory: still no internet access! I received the device yesterday and I will return it along with my subscription! Trust is broken! How can one believe such charlatans and entertainers of readers, I was going to say fairground entertainers! The gift, if there was one, is a poisoned T-BOOK! I will test the battery life, consult a sufficiently competent technician, and if their conclusion is as bad as mine, I will return this junk to the information tinkers! In fact, it's more or less the type of mini-PC they were supposed to offer us. The characteristics of the flyer were minimalist. The only difference: instead of Linux, they put Windows CE 6.
Don't dream, they weren't going to offer a mini-PC with Windows XP for €200, that wouldn't be a profitable marketing operation!
I haven't had any Wi-Fi connection problems. As long as you manage your router well with DHCP, no worries.
I just regret that Windows CE 6 doesn't offer a software download site to install, for example, a Facebook, Twitter, or RSS application... which is possible with Windows Mobile...

I can understand that it couldn't be "cutting edge", but at least we should
be able to add software and use IE properly.
The biggest problem is that the operating system is that of an archaic pocket PC and consequently - no way (when you're not a super pro) to install Linux...
Ubuntu or Xubuntu at least, have their Logitech and a wide choice of software...
Here - no way to read emails properly, nor to browse Flash sites, because -
there's no way to install a Flash plugin, let alone Flash Player...
As soon as you open more than 2 internet pages - no more virtual memory, nor the possibility to "allocate" memory from a USB stick to increase virtual capacity...
The T-Book has ActiveSync, but no cable to connect to a PC, to synchronize with it and install software for Pocket PC...
I'm not going to send it back, because it’s not even worth the postage...

- There is an office suite from Softmaker that seems okay except for a rather bothersome visual glitch (update here: https://www.softmaker.com/en/servicepacks Is there anything better?
