Hello, I would like to know how to connect a vocal microphone to a hi-fi system?  Thank you.

Good evening. I bought a set of karaoke DVDs with a microphone (jack plug) but I don't have a mic input on the TV or on the DVD player. Are there adapters that would allow me to connect my microphone to the audio input of the DVD?

Is the microphone input the Aux input?
Because I tried with red and white cables (I don't know what they're called, I'm pretty bad in this area) so I tried and connected the system to Aux but nothing happens.

On my hi-fi system, my inputs are RCA: phono, aux, CD, tuner.  And otherwise, my microphone end is a big jack like for guitars, but I have a "reducer" that is the same as your photo, a small jack.

No, there is no hole for the reduced plug only when I connect the cinch.

I FOUND it, I bought it, and it works. I can't copy the image here, but check www.abix.fr, you'll find: 6.35mm Female to 2 RCA Male Adapter Cable 10cm for €2.76 excluding VAT. There you go, then just plug it in.
