Hello everyone,
I want to register my Synology NAS with the manufacturer. To do this, I access a field where I need to enter the NAS serial number. Up to now, no problem... except that no matter how I enter the data, I get a message saying that my serial number is invalid.
Here it is: I370LANxxxxxx (xxxxxx represents a series of 6 digits)
I’ve tried the following combinations:
- L370LAN
- l370LAN
- i370LAN
- I370LAN
If you have any other suggestions...
Bernard.

Hello,
Just for your information, I have a Synology DS209+II
The serial number is in the form: 93G3Nxxxxx (5 digit series)
I took this serial number from DSM, in the "System Information" section.
Mine is not registered. I went to the website but I couldn't find the section to register? It is possible that due to our location, we may not have access to the same pages.
Best regards

Hello Jee Pee,
Sorry for this late response. Thank you for the lead.
You were right: I found the serial number in the NAS properties, in the interface.
Just a copy-paste, and I'm registered.
Now, next step: Setting up to "attack" the NAS from the outside, with all the necessary security settings...
