How to uninstall without completely losing my program?

Hello, due to a bug in my Sims 3 game, I decided to uninstall and reinstall everything, but since then, I've lost my Sims 3 CD; I was playing from the expansion discs!

Is there a way, when uninstalling from the control panel, to find my game somewhere? Or is it permanently deleted from my computer?

Hello,

The principle of uninstallation is precisely to remove what you no longer wish to use ... So no, if you uninstall it, you won't see it anymore and you would need to reinstall it.
