Galaxy S2 stuck on SAMSUNG logo!

Hello everyone,

I have my Galaxy S2 stuck on the SAMSUNG logo at startup!

I've read on several forums that I need to do a Data/Factory reset, but the thing is, I just want to save/recover my contacts and a few photos if possible.

I don't know, some kind of software or trick that would allow me to do that.

For your information, I don't have a Micro SD card and I can access both "Recovery and Download" modes.

    I found the answer to the question!! In fact, you just need a PC and to follow my steps below:
    -Step 1: Go to your PC and look for Kies, you will find Kies and Kies 3. Download the Kies suitable for your phone (if one doesn't work, try the other).
    -Step 2: Once installed, you will need to connect your phone via a USB 2.0 cable (I should mention that if your phone is not detected, it’s not a big deal).
    -Step 3: Once that is done, you will need to dig through the tabs at the top of the page and you will find an option to update your phone or something like that.

    BEFORE THAT, DON’T FORGET TO BACK UP YOUR PHONE WITH KIES AS WELL, BUT THIS TIME YOUR PHONE MUST BE DETECTED!!! BECAUSE IF YOU DO THIS WITHOUT BACKING UP YOU WILL LOSE EVERYTHING!!! Oh, and also remove your micro SD card, you never know. :)
    -Step 4: Step 4 is simple as you just need to follow the instructions on the screen!
    -Step 5: Once you have followed all these steps, you just need to restart your phone!

    And there you go, after following all these steps you should have your phone alive again!

      I'm facing the same problem: my phone is stuck on the Samsung logo. (Samsung Galaxy Core Prime)
      The technical support suggests resetting it (it’s still under warranty) but I will lose all my data that I hadn't backed up!
      I downloaded KIES 3. It offers either an emergency firmware recovery or an initialization.. What should I do? Am I at risk of losing my data?

      Yes, you risk losing your data, but first copy everything to your computer (by turning on the phone so the computer detects it), then afterwards do "upgrade and initialization and firmware upgrade." After the operation, you can go back to your computer and copy all your data and put it on your phone.
