Good evening,
So today, as usual, I turn on my computer and I find a window
"NvBackend.exe - Incorrect Image"
C:\Programs Files (x86\Common Files\Microsoft Shared\Windows Live\WLIDNSP.DLL is not designed to run under Windows or it contains an error. Please reinstall the program using the original installation media, or contact your system administrator or software vendor for support.
And this message is persistent; as soon as I click on "OK" it immediately reappears, and when I click on the red cross it also shows up again right away...
I did a scan with Norton and found no viruses, and a scan with Malware Bytes with no problems either.
Unfortunately, I am very bad with computers, so it would be nice if you could help me.
Thank you very much.

Hello there.
To answer your question, "NvBackend.exe" is an essential component of GeForce Experience. If you were afraid it was a virus-trojan-worm, you were mistaken :)
After a quick search on the Nvidia forum, here's the response from a Nvidia administrator:
Regarding your issue with Windows Live, it may be that this file is corrupted, I recommend the following steps:
Uninstall Windows Live using efficient programs like "Iobit Uninstaller 3" that allows you to completely and thoroughly remove any remaining files after the standard uninstallation (and in French no less ^.^)
PS: choose performance scan > select all > destroy remaining files > delete
Download link:
Uninstall GeForce Experience (again, through the software, not Windows)
Clean your registry with "Puran Utilities".
Download link:
In English for sure, but understandable even for no-English speakers.
And among all the FREE programs, it's the best in terms of cleaning without touching essential Windows elements, unlike many tested software that have cost me several Windows reinstalls due to missing functional elements.
Among other sub-programs specific to Puran Utilities, like disk - registry defragmentation, disabling startup programs, deleting Windows and browser history, disk error scanning, removing empty folders, recovering deleted files from the past, fixing broken shortcuts (among others).
In case, select ["registry Cleaner"] -> Scan -> Fix.
Once you've completely uninstalled
restart the PC,
Install the latest version of GeForce Experience.
Restart the PC (so that GeForce is recognized by all software)
Install Windows Live (although I wonder why you still have Windows Live knowing that MSN has not existed for several months, the access servers are shut down, and Windows Live is no longer functional to this day)
With all that, I hope I've resolved your issue. If you have a problem, don't hesitate to contact me via my inbox in private message, just click on my username and write a message (at the top of the page).

This is main process for GeForce Experience after update. If you kill it, GeForce Experience may crash. In French: this program is essential for GeForce Experience and its future updates. If you disable this program, GeForce Experience could malfunction or not work at all.
