wireless mouse issue Solved/Closed

Hello!
I just bought a Trust DS 3200 wireless keyboard and mouse (USB) for my Acer 5100 laptop.
My problem is a bit strange: the keyboard works fine (I used it to write this message). However, the mouse remains unresponsive!! It is well detected by the PC. Its light signal is also on. The batteries are new. Everything seems to be in order, but I can't get the cursor to move with this mouse!!

Is there anyone who can help me get this mouse working?

Hello everyone.

For your wireless mouse issue, it's nothing simpler, just put the trust in the USB while pressing the button on the wheel, and once connected, take your finger off the wheel.

You probably need to tell Windows to use that one by default, but I don't know where that is.

I have searched for any possible option to use the new mouse as default but I don't know where I could find this option
For the moment, both mice are indeed on my PC with the indication that both are working normally!!!!
Let's hope someone will suggest a solution that could resolve such a problem

I'm already starting to have doubts that the mouse is incompatible with Windows Vista
on the Trust website, it is indicated that the driver for this hardware (keyboard and mouse) for Vista PCs will be available very soon
I will try this mouse on my office PC by Wednesday
the confusion for me is mainly due to the keyboard's functioning while the mouse remains stupidly still
anyway, it's just a matter of time to understand what exactly it is

apparently the problem was more with the mouse
I installed the mouse and keyboard on my office computer and had the same issue
I had to return the product to the seller due to a technical failure of the mouse
this was confirmed after I installed a new mouse and keyboard, the Windows Wireless Optical Desktop 700, and it works perfectly this time
there you go, it was so easy to solve!!!!!

I bought the Trust DS 3200 wireless keyboard/mouse pack. The keyboard works very well but the mouse does not function properly: the cursor moves slowly and imprecisely. The right click works but not the left, I can highlight something but cannot click on it. It seems that the computer does not recognize it since it doesn’t appear anywhere. I am not an expert in computer science but having looked into the device management and control panel, there is no Trust mouse. I read above that someone else had the same problem. I also installed the installation CD but I wonder if it’s really worth it.

I see I'm not the only one having mouse issues.

I bought a wireless keyboard and mouse from IOGEAR; the keyboard works perfectly fine, it functioned right away, but the mouse is a no-go. I took it back to the seller who tested it on his PC and it worked.

I think it just doesn’t like it here at my place.

So, I plugged my old mouse back in; its cord gets in the way a bit, it keeps getting stuck, but at least it works.

Nevertheless, if anyone has a solution, I would be happy to hear it.

I solved my problem: on the Trust wireless mouse I have, there is an on/off button on the bottom. But it should be noted that the light on the USB transmitter is also a button! By pressing it, the mouse started working... I hope the same happens for you, and I regret that hardware manufacturers don't take the time to explain how their products work.

Having issues with a Microsoft Wireless mouse and keyboard that work perfectly under XP, but do not work under Vista, despite installing the latest drivers downloaded from Microsoft’s own site (which does not specify if it's compatible with Vista). Hey hi friends^^, I'm happy! My mouse is working again!!!! First of all, thanks to lupotrufree, I tried your method and at one point I managed to see the right-click display, the menu there! And actually after that, it stopped working again! So I got fed up and removed the batteries! Just to let it die....! Then I decided to bring it back to life! So I put the two batteries back in! And suddenly! Bam! My mouse is ALIVEEE! I hope it will work for you too! See you+++ =)

Hi everyone, as you may have understood, my mouse is also not working anymore... it's a 5-year-old Trust optical mouse, and for the past 2 days there has been no response, the pointer remains frozen on the desktop. I had problems with Logitech I already had a Logitech mouse and keyboard I didn't like the keyboard I changed it and it displays PS/2 keyboard I tried Compaq model RT-102  but it still didn't work everything could function but I couldn't get on the forums, the letters I typed wouldn't print NOW I updated the mouse, I think I downloaded automatically.......... I installed a new HP keyboard I think I still need to get this one recognized by my computer because it still shows PS/2 keyboard and is connected with the wireless mouse (Logitech) finally, I believe that for a long time the two keyboard and mouse were left with "Logitech" but I don't know how to do it............believe me, I've tried everything for almost a month to resolve this damn issue please help me thank you for responding Catalina

Hello everyone, and thank you for your help! I just got a TRUST DS-3200 keyboard and mouse, and when I got home, it didn't work! (just like you did!) So I went back to the seller, where it worked! So it comes from my PC! Since there was an installation CD, I connected to XP but I forgot to check under UBUNTU!! And under Linux, no problem, it works fine! So, crazy thing, I plugged in my old mouse simultaneously with the new one, I restarted the PC under XP, and I managed to install the drivers for the keyboard and mouse. The keyboard worked, but not the mouse. So I went to My Computer --> Properties --> Device Manager --> I uninstalled the old mouse (but didn't unplug it) and restarted the PC. I did this operation at least twice before the DS-3200 took over, but now it works. Of course, I didn't reinstall my old mouse, and I unplugged it once it was working!!! So again, thank you all who pointed me in the right direction! I hope my explanations can help others!

Hello  for a year my mouse has been decorating my desk I FINALLY !!! managed to make it work I had tried everything. Today I unplugged and plugged the base back in, then clicked the right button repeatedly while holding down the connection button on the base and the reset button under the mouse. I didn't believe it anymore, but I was completely surprised when it worked. Thank you for your advice and for those whose mouse refuses to cooperate, be more stubborn than it is, it will work one day!!!
