Hello,
When I open my pps/ppt on another computer, the layout is no longer respected:
the text boxes are misaligned, the tables overlap, etc.
I don't know how to ensure that my pps will look identical to what I have on my computer when I present it elsewhere. Especially since I looked quite foolish yesterday in front of the representatives of the institution to whom I was asking for funding for my project when they couldn't manage to read the tables...
thank you so much for your help!
Configuration: Windows XP / Chrome 31.0.1650.63

Hello,
There is no reason for the appearance of a presentation to change when you open it on a different computer, as long as you are using the same version of the same software.
However, if you are unsure about which version or software you will encounter, convert your presentation to PDF. You will lose the "sexy" animations (which sometimes annoy people who need to maintain a serious and focused look during your speech...), but you will have the assurance that your data will display correctly in all circumstances. That's better!

Hello,
This is not the version that will change the layout. However, you need to check that the font used on the PC that created it is present on the PC that is used for distribution.
If the font does not exist, PowerPoint will replace it with another one, and you will definitely have issues like this.

If you want to be helped effectively, make sure you are on the right forum,... and specify the software used as well as its version. We lack clairvoyants!
