Avoid content offset in Word page

Hello,

I'm using Word 2007 for a thesis. Every time I write an additional line or make a space, the entire layout of my thesis shifts. Sometimes I end up with a title at the bottom of the page, etc.

It’s normal and logical for it to shift, but it’s frustrating. I would like to know if I can fix the content of one page so that if I add a line or a space, for example on page 2 which precedes it, nothing shifts the content on page 3.

Is this possible?

Thank you in advance.

Configuration: Windows 7 / Firefox 3.6.3

Good evening,
If you need to make slight modifications on each page, avoid writing to the end of your page and one or two lines before moving on to the next page, perform a "page break." Insert > next page break. Repeat this process on each page and you won't have any shifting during your corrections. See you!
