    If your PC is an ACER laptop and it is the genuine "Dummy" software, you can uninstall it without worry.
    Otherwise, there is an ugly beast somewhere in your system...

      Yes, my laptop is an Acer, but when I search for 'dummy form', it doesn't find anything, so I can't uninstall it.

      Good evening,
      I also have this problem. My computer is slow and whenever I shut it down, it tells me that Dummy form is open.
      I also have an Acer laptop (Windows 8).
