How many photos can fit on a 1GB SD Card?

Hello,
I would like to know how many photos can be taken with a 1GB SD card?? My camera is the Nikon COOLPIX P520. Thank you in advance. :)

hum... at 18 megapixels, the photo should be between 10 and 20 MB depending on the settings, your card can hold 1000, which is 50 to 100 photos, not a lot... :p

For this type of device, 8GB is generally recommended, based on several devices in the same group it is easy to determine the size of a photo
(today, small 16MP compact cameras take photos of 8MB; it would be unthinkable for a current DSLR to take less ;) )
