I bought a video doorbell Inspektor 863 003
The Larsen effect is shocking!!
Replacement at Brico Dépôt. It seems that this series has issues.
Tried the second model 863 003. This time, in addition to the Larsen, we couldn't see a visitor in the dark, and there was a buzzing noise from the street unit.
Second replacement at Brico Dépôt. Additional expense to buy a model 863 000 (which costs twice as much as the previous one!!)
And still the Larsen effect.
We tried with a shielded coaxial cable for wires 2 and 3 (audio). Still Larsen. No effect from the potentiometers on the Larsen.
I am getting furious.

With my Inspektor video doorbell, people can't hear me. However, it works from the inside. This may be due to the speaker, but I can’t find any from this brand anymore. Purchased in August 2002.

I had the same issue as you with my Inspektor video intercom re 863003. It works well except for the call ring because I have a distance of 45m.

I can offer you the plan I found, however regarding the sound your 45m wire I think you can increase it on the indoor unit you have 3 potentiometers
the 1st is to adjust the volume
the 2nd adjusts the contrast of the image
the 3rd adjusts the brightness of the image
for the connections of the indoor and outdoor units
r1: video
r2: ground
r3: audio
r4: + 12 VOLTS
L+/ TERMINAL OF THE ELECTRIC STRIKE
L-: 2nd terminal of the electric strike

There you go, I hope I have been of help by the way your 45m of wire I hope you used telephone wire because thicker can harm you. Check your connections and settings.
Cheers from pat82 - I think rather (as with internet wiring) that it’s better to use thick cables, because the thicker it is, the better the current transmits (low impedance) over long distances! Quality comes at a price: take ADSL cable (it has eight wires, which is convenient! and it’s shielded, which is even better!) category 6 or 7 for short lengths, for longer lengths, use excellent shielded video cable or high-end computer cable.
Always shielded!!! because the slightest interference over such lengths (car ignition, microwaves, household neon lights or strong street neons, electrical devices with motors...) can spoil video quality, or even cause the door phone to ring for no reason (accumulation of static electricity!)
It’s better to spend 40 to 60 € now while the trench in the ground is open or in the wall, rather than getting frustrated because it’s malfunctioning and having to redo everything later!
- Make the connections at the terminals with the utmost precision and accuracy, clean the contacts beforehand (otherwise electrical resistance will be too high), protect the outer terminals from corrosion and oxidation (even in the box, you can’t imagine how fog and bad weather can ruin the connections!)

The electrical connection for the INSPEKTOR VIDEO DOORBELL (Ref. 890065) is very straightforward. You just need to connect terminals 1-2-3-4-5-6 of the indoor monitor to terminals 1-2-3-4-5-6 of the outdoor unit (camera). Terminals 7 and 8 of the indoor monitor are used for powering a possible electric strike for the door...
The cable recommended by the manufacturer is either 6 x 0.75mm² or 8 x 0.75mm² if you have installed an electric strike.

Hello. I installed a INSPEKTOR 863000 intercom, the chime is heard inside, the monitor lights up for a fraction of a second and turns aquamarine, I can't see or hear the people through the intercom. I followed the wiring correctly, and I can't see where this might come from. Can you help me troubleshoot quickly? Thank you for the information.
