Hello, I had another question. I think I have a contact who has blocked me. When I send iMessages, it shows as delivered. Is it possible for me to be blocked, meaning the person does not receive my messages, but I still see the "delivered" status on my screen? Message delivered but the recipient's phone is blocked.

Hi, indeed if one of your contacts blocks you, you can't know it and the contact won't see your message, but you will still see it as Delivered..

It happened to me just this morning; I sent an iMessage SMS to someone, and I was 75% convinced that this person had blocked me. So I did a search on Google, stumbled upon this forum, read what fred.ml had written, and took it directly to heart because, indeed, the "delivered" status was there... But no, in the end! A few hours later, this person replied to me! And I also tried, before this person answered me, to block my own number and send myself a message while still being blocked, and that's false! There was no "delivered" status... And once unblocked, there was nothing written, there you go!
So instead of talking nonsense just because you think you're smarter than everyone else or because you have such an inflated ego that you spout crap to people who might have asked this question simply because they had a hope, a last hope that this person, who was probably very important to them, hadn't definitively "burned the bridges" with them or "erased them from their life" forever.........it would be better for you to just shut your big mouth, simply, that would even be of public utility, so just move along next time! Thank you!! ;))

When it doesn't say "delivered", it means that your contact has blocked you. If "delivered" is displayed, it means that your contact has not blocked you.

Hi Lol, we can't know for sure, because if the Read Receipts option is not enabled in the recipient's iPhone settings, the Seen indication will never show up on the sender's iPhone.

Hi, the answer is no, the person who blocked you won't see that you tried to contact them and won't get a missed call notification.
If you leave a message, then yes, the person will receive a notification of a message in the messaging app.

You can disable this feature by going to privacy and then not sending "seen". That way, your contact will never know whether they have read it or not.

My little brother has an iPhone, we see each other very often, when he is with me I will block his number on my iPhone and ask him to send me a text and also to call me to see how his iPhone reacts.. Hi, my brother just passed by, so I tested it by blocking his number on my iPhone.
When he sends me a text, I don't see it, and on his end, it shows delivered.

When he calls me, it goes straight to my voicemail (my phone doesn’t ring, and I don’t see that he tried to contact me).

My brother left me a message, but my iPhone doesn't notify me at all.

When I manually called my voicemail by dialing my voicemail number, I did receive the message from my brother.

When I unblocked my brother's number, the text he sent me still doesn’t show up; he sent me another one that I received (the text he sent when the number was blocked still doesn’t appear).
I hope this helps you understand. If your contact has blocked you, they no longer receive your texts, and if you call them, their phone doesn’t ring, and you are directly sent to voicemail.

Hello everyone. So, I just realized that someone had blocked me on Viber. Yesterday, I did a test with a friend to confirm. She blocked my number, and when I write to her, it doesn't say NEITHER delivered NOR seen!! However, I can see when she is online or not. I sent her messages, and she hasn't seen them, and when she unblocked me, the messages I sent her when she had blocked my number didn't appear!! So, I hope I've helped some of you. ;-).

On Viber, in principle, if someone blocks you, they can still see you online, but you can't see them. There are no messages displayed about their status (online or offline). Even when you send them messages, they receive nothing, and on your chat page, after the message, it shows neither delivered nor seen, so it's still blank. If they send you a message, they automatically unblock you.
But I don't understand. Someone blocked me yesterday, so I can't see them online or offline; it's still blank, just the person's name. This morning, I found them online, which means they unblocked me, but when I see a message, it shows neither delivered nor seen.

Good evening, I have the same problem with a friend. I can't see his online status when I send him a text, he doesn't see it, yet he sends me texts that I can see. But when I reply, he doesn't see it; it says sent, not read. Not delivered.

Being blocked myself, I ran some tests because the messages I was sending appeared in blue but were not marked as delivered.
If you send an iMessage to someone who has blocked you, they definitely won’t receive it.

I did a test (from iPhone to iPhone) with a friend who had blocked me, and when I sent her a message, she didn't receive it. Even after she unblocked me, she still didn't receive it, and it was not marked as delivered for me.

On the other hand, if a person turns on airplane mode and you send them a message, it won’t be marked as delivered. However, if they turn off airplane mode, they will receive the message, and it will then be marked as delivered.

So if it says delivered, it means that the person hasn't blocked you, because when blocked, nothing shows up even after being unblocked.
