Hello,
I’m currently working on a poster in InDesign CS6. How can I prevent InDesign from automatically correcting my colors when the color is not printable?
Indeed, I have placed a bright red in a rectangle. My selection is a vibrant red, yet the result is a pale red. In the swatches panel, a logo informs me that the selected color is not printable, yet I do not want the correction. I would like to keep my vibrant red.
How can I do this?
Thank you for your help ;)

Either you create a direct tone, or you remain within the color range of the color you like well..
But if it looks nice on screen, it won't necessarily look good in print.. hence the information about non-printable colors...
Think about how it will be printed. If not (PDF for the Web for example), configure InDesign in RGB (menu: Edit / Colors)
