Hello,

As stated in the title, what is the purpose of the VLC plugin?
On Chrome or Firefox.

Configuration: Windows 7 / Chrome 25.0.1364.97

    You launch the software from Windows to play a video or audio file that is on your hard drive.

    The VLC plugin for Firefox allows you to play a video or audio directly in the browser instead of downloading it to your disk to play it later.
