File blocked in HP document deletion

You probably don't have administrator rights.

Try creating a shortcut to cmd and running it as an administrator.

Right-click on the desktop, new => shortcut.
You browse, then go to your hard drive (C: in general)
You go into the Windows folder then system32
and you select cmd.exe

You finish

When your shortcut is created, right-click on it and then run as administrator.

Normally, you should be able to run any command like this.

But you still need to know the admin password.

Step 1: Start Notepad
To stop the print spooler and its files, we need to create and run a script file that will automatically stop the service. It's tricky, but it's really not. Just follow these steps carefully.
a. Click on Start, then click on Run.
b. In the Open box, type notepad and then click OK. Note that a blank Notepad document opens.
Step 2: Copy a command script into Notepad
Now we need to copy and paste commands into the Notepad document.
a. Carefully select (highlight) the following text:
spooler net stop
del %systemroot%\system32\spool\printers\*.shd
del %systemroot%\system32\spool\printers\*.spl
net start spooler
b. Right-click on the selected text, then click Copy.
c. In Notepad, right-click in the blank document, then click Paste.
d. Carefully select (highlight) the following text:
C:\DeletePrintJobs.cmd
e. Right-click on the selected text, then click Copy.

note Note that this file name is different from most other file names you may have seen. This is because this file is a command script file.
h. Click Save.
Step 3: Run the command script file
Now that you have created the command script file, you will run it. To run it, copy and paste the name of the command script file into the Run box.
a. Carefully select (highlight) the following text:
C:\DeletePrintJobs.cmd
b. Right-click on the selected text, then click Copy.
c. Click on Start, then click on Run.
d. In the Open box, right-click, then click Paste.
e. Click OK.

for the boot issue I might have a solution; go into your computer's BIOS and check in the boot sequence or first boot device, second boot device, etc. that only the CDROM and HDD are enabled and that no other boot device is activated.
I'm telling you this because I once had this boot problem with an HP printer when the USB Device was set to first, the computer tried to boot from the USB and therefore from the printer, and it took ages, however to turn off the computer, it seemed to me that it didn't change anything in my case.

Hello, you need to access this computer and run net stop spooler and net start spooler as explained earlier in this discussion.
Or unplug the printer from this computer and install it on another one, then the network printing will work again.

Hello, for your information; if it works for you, that's great, but in most cases with an HP printer, restarting Windows does not solve the problem. With my HP all-in-one 2175, the files remain in the queue, even if I restart 100 times.
