Hello, I'm having a problem with my television. It's a Sony flat screen. Suddenly, it stopped working. That is to say, when I turn it on, the light comes on but the screen stays black and I can't do anything with the remote control; I changed the batteries and nothing happened. Afterwards, I tried using the buttons directly on the TV but I can't do anything either, not even turn it off; to turn it off, I have to unplug it. If anyone has a solution, it would be nice to hear from you, thanks!

Hello,
After checking several forums on this topic... I also have the same problem with a 42'' Samsung LCD that is barely 2 and a half years old and therefore out of warranty. For a while now, I've been experiencing the same issue: the light is blinking, and the image only appears after about half an hour or sometimes over an hour. And since last night, nothing works; the light is blinking and there’s still no image in sight!!!... So if a motherboard costs as much or even more than a new TV, not to mention the cost of a diagnostic estimate... Well, I think I’ll just be without a TV because it's really tough for me right now, and buying a new TV is simply not possible at the moment. I’ll just stick to watching the available programs online in "replay" and especially remember to notify the tax office that I no longer have a TV so I won’t have to pay the broadcasting tax....

I disassembled the board connected to the control buttons. Under a magnifying glass, I checked the capacitors, the resistors, etc., and on the other side, the soldering – nothing wrong. So, I dusted it off with a brush, sprayed it with isopropyl alcohol, dried it, brushed it with a clean small brush, and reinserted and rewired this circuit board. I turned off the green indicator with the remote control and put it back into service as usual, and now the Sony KDL-32EX402 TV IS BACK IN SERVICE? Before, the green light was on and the screen was black! I'm not a professional repairman! But I'm persistent and tenacious.
