Hello, since today (the problem wasn't present yesterday!), when I turn on my television (PHILIPS 47PFL4606H/12), the screen and sound work, but about 10 seconds later, the screen goes off while the sound is still present.
I saw on other forums that the issue could be related to a blown fuse, but I don't think that's the same case as mine, because my screen stays on for a few seconds when I turn it on, so the fuse must be working fine.

Hello,
I forgot to mark this topic as resolved.
The issue has been fixed for a long time; it was a faulty resistor. I was very lucky because the warranty was still valid, even though it had been almost 2 years since I bought this TV.
Use the warranty, and if it's no longer valid, get it repaired but not by Philips service; have it done by a repair person near you, I think it will cost you less.

Hello,

I had the same issue with my 46-inch Samsung TV, after a few minutes the screen goes black but the sound still works.
The screen turns black, however, when I get closer to the screen and shine my smartphone light on it, I can perceive the image.
I then have to wait a few minutes for the image to reappear when restarting the TV.
After consulting various forums, I concluded that the problem must be with the capacitor, however, it only malfunctions when it gets (too) hot.
The best way to reduce this overheating was to lower the backlight (to 8/10 by default!) and the screen brightness!! Now it works for me.

SIMPLE TEST: Lower the backlight and brightness!

no matter what model you use, dear Philips, the problem remains the same: no more picture. They have a problem in their manufacturing chain because the entire range remains the same. The solution is to stop buying Philips.

  I completely agree, we need to ask questions when we see all these Philips TVs that have the same issue after only 2 or 3 years of use. I await Philips to prove me otherwise. But I think this brand lacks quality. In any case, I will no longer spend a single cent on PHILIPS.

  No more images, only sound on Philips television model 32PFL3008H/12. Television is 2 years and 9 months old. Purchase price 299 euros. It seems that Philips' quality control service needs to be improved; at least today, buying budget brand televisions gives you what you pay for since you know what to expect in relation to the price paid.
