Hello, I have had a Dell Latitude D630 for two days and unfortunately I do not have the original charger, so I tried to charge the PC with an HP charger: The indicator on the PC blinks orange then green before turning off and the PC does not charge!!!!
When I turn it on, a message appears telling me in English that I need to use a Dell charger!!!!
Please, is there a possibility to charge my PC with a charger other than Dell (there is one just next door)?
Is it a charger problem or a PC problem?
Configuration: Windows XP / Firefox 14.0.1

First of all, thank you for your response!!!!
I'm not very familiar with this: on my PC it says 19.5V - 7.62 A (approximately, I don't remember exactly)
Should I find a charger with exactly the SAME values?
I just tested a charger with 19V - 7.82 A and it doesn't work!!!!
Certainly, the voltage is lower than what's required by the PC, but the amperage is higher than what's required by the PC...... and it doesn't work.....
