Hello,
I am reaching out to resolve an issue related to my mouse on Windows 7.
I have been using a wireless mouse for quite some time without any problems. The night before last, the cursor stayed in the middle of the screen and the mouse stopped working.
I obviously changed the batteries (which were not the cause of the failure), then I tried a wired mouse that was detected but does not respond. In the device manager, everything is fine.
However, I hear the sound of a device being connected or disconnected every 20 or 30 seconds (maybe this will ring a bell for some).
Out of options, I restored my system to two days ago, but nothing changed; the problem remains the same.
Do you have any solutions?
Thank you in advance.

In my opinion, if you hear the sound of device connection and disconnection regularly, that's where the problem lies.
Initially, I would advise you to try another USB port (I assume it’s indeed a USB connection for your mice?).
If you don't have any others, try to "force" it a bit to ensure your device is properly connected.
