My Archos 101 tablet is not working anymore.

Hello,

After a few months of use, my Archos 101 IT tablet won't turn on at all. The battery was dead, so I plugged it in to charge with the charger, of course, but the green light doesn't blink when I connect it to charge; it just stays on. I press the power button, but nothing happens, and the light remains the same. I press it for 5, 10, 20, even 30 seconds, but my tablet won't turn on. Anyway, before this, my sister plugged my charger into the headphone jack by mistake. Is there a connection? What should I do? I'm really desperate!
I'm waiting for a response as soon as possible, please..

Hello, disconnect the tablet
Press and hold the power button for at least 10 seconds, release, the tablet should reset
If the green light stays on: your tablet has been completely turned off and is charging
If the green light is flashing: the tablet is only in sleep mode and charging, if it flashes: charging is complete

Archos crooks! Same here; tablet blocked; it's 6 months old; it freezes all the time; once started, it needs to be rebooted; after 2 launches, it works and then crashes; and since yesterday it doesn’t even turn on anymore; small green blinking light when plugged in (USB PC or outlet), nothing works; I’ve tried everything, 10 seconds on power, 10 seconds on power + volume +, nothing to do black screen stuck; not even the white reset screen. It’s charged though... I’m in trouble, my course materials are on it. I totally agree with bordelx, Archos is of poor quality! You can't rely on these crappy brands when you use these devices professionally; sadly, quality comes at a price; I don't see what else to do except to point out this shitty brand, in hopes of boycotting it and, we can always dream, getting rid of it... in the meantime, it's the one who abused and stole nearly €300 from me! Crooks!

Hello everyone! I have the same problem except that:
-My tablet turns on but doesn't boot its operating system
-When I hold down the power button, the tablet "buzzes"

I believe it's a hardware issue

Can you confirm this for me or tell me what it is, thanks in advance!

Look for a hole the size of a pinhead on the edge of your tablet, insert a needle into this hole, and you should feel a push button that you can click. This is intended to perform a factory reset of the system. I'm not saying it's going to work, nor am I 100% sure that there is this hole on your tablet. But for my children's Titanium 80 and 97b, they are there and have saved me many times.
