Hello
I have a small issue with a friend; we want to play Borderlands. I set up a Wi-Fi network from my PC. He connects to it, and so do I. We don't have internet, but when I create a game, he can't see the game. Using Hamachi is impossible without internet.
Could you provide some clarity on my next question: how to play Borderlands in co-op on PC in LAN without internet?
Thank you very much

Hello, I also have this problem, which I resolved, but I find the solution not very clean.
My version of Borderlands is a DVD version.
I believe there are some differences in directory locations between the Steam and DVD versions.
1) One player hosts the game, they must know their IP and have authorized the firewall for Borderlands. They wait on the players' page.
2) The second player creates a shortcut on their desktop for Borderlands, then modifies the target to something like this:
"C:\directory\where\the\executable\file\is\Borderlands.exe" XXX.XXX.XXX.XXX
XXX.XXX.XXX.XXX is the server's IP (the first player), all that's left to do is click OK.
Double-click on the shortcut, the game launches and normally connects to the player who is hosting.
I hope this helps you.

Thanks anyway and have fun!
