Hello, for Christmas I got a Cyborg V7 keyboard, and when I plug it into my laptop (7 64bit), it tries to install the drivers and I see "Saitek cyborg keyboard FAILED". I don't know what to do. I tried downloading the drivers "Saitek_Cyborg_Keyboard_SD6_64_Drivers_pfw.exe", but when I launch it, it doesn't detect the keyboard. It gets stuck on "Installing driver: connect the controller to update."
And now I don't know what to do.
Thanks in advance.

Sélectionnez "Me laisser choisir parmi une liste ..."

Hello,
for those interested, I just spent an hour on this after the Windows 8 update.
So, I have 7 devices in the manager for my Cyborg V7 keyboard, with 5 in "Human Interface Devices" and 2 in "Keyboards".
Actually, I first installed each of these devices with the most basic driver possible, just the USB thing, the first choice in manual installation. Then, once everything was recognized, I reinstalled everything with the SaiK0728.inf located in C:\Windows\Temp\Saitek\Saitek_Cyborg_Keyboard_SD6_64_Drivers\00000011\0728, which is created with the driver from the website, you know, the driver that doesn't work.
Hoping to have helped some of you.-
Hey, hi everyone,
A few clarifications:
In "User Interfaces" we have user choices,
we need: 2 from "USB Input" to "Saitek Cyborg Keyboard (USB)"
then there's one that can be updated from "very long thing (HID)" to "... Hot Keys (HID)"
and finally the other two have a choice "thing shorter than the one above (HID)" to "Gaming Keys (HID)"
Thanks a lot Olletroll, I already had a hard time with my RAT 9, I would have freaked out if it was worse with my keyboard =D -

Hello.
I found this beautiful keyboard at a flea market, and for 3€ (after negotiating... I saved 1€!!! lol) I brought it home. Once I got home, however, it didn't work. Driver problem... while searching, I finally found the solution.
First, you need to download the driver:
http://www.madcatz.com/downloads/
the product to select is Mad Catz V7 Keyboard.
You need an extraction software like 7zip for example.
Once the driver is downloaded (a file named "V7_Keyboard_SD7_0_23_0_x64_Drivers"), you actually need to unzip it. So right-click on this file > 7zip > Extract to "V7_Keyboard_SD7_0_23_0_x64_Drivers". You now have a folder named "V7_Keyboard_SD7_0_23_0_x64_Drivers".
Plug in your keyboard. The drivers... do not install (you get that famous message "failed")
Then, right-click on Computer > Manage > Device Manager (you can also reach it through Control Panel).
You have two exclamation marks for your keyboard. Right-click on the 1st one > update driver > search for a driver on my computer > choose from a list... > choose the model containing the name Saitek.
Do the same manipulation with the other exclamation mark.
Now your devices are at the top of Device Manager.
Right-click on the 1st one > update driver > search for a driver on my computer > search for drivers at this location: browse: select the unzipped folder from the very beginning: "V7_Keyboard_SD7_0_23_0_x64_Drivers" > next, Windows installs the drivers, and now it works!!!
Do the same with the second one,
And there you go, your keyboard works... -
Why doesn't anyone want to help me? They help everyone except ME!

I had the same problem.
I went to the madcatz website and downloaded the "DRIVER DOWNLOAD" and the "SOFTWARE DOWNLOAD"
Everything works very well now.
