[left margin issue]

Solved

Hello everyone and thank you in advance for your help!

In Word (Office Pack 2003), the left margin ruler has been "off" for some time now (it's pretty silly for a ruler to get off ...). Let me explain:

On the left side, we normally have the top and bottom margins visible on the ruler (i.e., the "margined" part is in gray, the rest of the ruler being in white). And now that's not the case anymore; the entire margin is white, so my first line is displayed right at the top of the page ... It's not dramatic, but it's annoying!

To add a little weirdness, when I print, there's no problem; not even the error message regarding print margins ... the margin is correct, the standard 2.5 cm.

I have already gone into File > Page Setup, and all my margins are set to 2.5 cm, and the same in the .dot

I don't really know what to try, so if you have any idea, my pride will handle being helped ...

Thank you in advance,
Christophe

Pfffffffff I messed up, sorry ...
The command to hide spaces was activated
    For those interested:
When you place your mouse precisely between two pages (in page mode, that is ...) the cursor changes appearance and offers to hide (as opposed to show) the spaces. There you go, it's not complicated, it's sorted ...

To display the margins or rather the rulers, simply go to: "View/Ruler".

It's not you who's a drag, it's the computer. I had the same problem and I wouldn't have found the solution if you hadn't posted it on the forum. So, thank you very much.

      Hello,

Your issue is not the same, you talk about setting up stops! It's not at all a matter of hidden margins.

I advise you to repost in a new topic and explain everything to us!

    Hello,

another issue with the margin regarding

    the insertion of comments

This shifts the right margin, reduces the font size on the printer without it being a problem with the tab

    Sincerely,

    Yann

    Thank you for the info...

This is not the first time this has happened to me and I've always found the solution by miracle, trying many solutions, sometimes after several days. Now I know where the bug comes from.

    Thank you....Thank you

A big thank you to Fophe

because it had been driving me crazy for 15 days... and I didn't know what manipulation I had done to make the vertical rule disappear and the pages stick to each other.

Long live the forum and Google.
